Amy was born in central Texas and raised on a ranch with dogs, cats, horses, and various exotic animals, including avian, reptilian, and mammalian. After graduating high school, she moved to New Mexico to further her education at New Mexico Highlands University. After working as a weaver and barista, she returned to her passion of caring for animals by beginning work as a technician at LV-SmVeterinary Hospital in May of 2010. She enjoys giving the animals individual attention, working in surgery, and communicating with clients. In her spare time, she has a small mobile grooming business, enjoys music, reading, hiking, and caring for her 3 dogs, 2 cats, and husband.
