1. Active practice of veterinary medicine since August 1974.

2. Over 40 years experience including practical mammalian physiology, pathology, endocrinology, parasitology, theriogenology, pharmacology, embryo transfer, ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, anesthesiology, general surgery, as well as client and personnel skills. From 1974 to 1995, averaged 70 to 80 hours per week in veterinary practice.

3. In 1995, joined the biology faculty at New Mexico Highlands University in a visiting professor position, decreasing private practice hospital duties.
